Building a complex web application on time and on budget requires a development process that clearly defines the features and goals of each project, yet allows for flexibility when changes or improvements have to be made. With over five years experience creating dynamic, data-driven websites and applications, we have refined our project development cycle into the following three phases:

Planning & Technology The planning stage of your project is perhaps the most important step in the successful building of your web application. In this stage, key choices are made to determine the objectives for the website/application and what technologies will be used to meet these objectives, such as: Who is your typical user, and what do you want to deliver to them? What are your goals, and can these goals be met within your budget? What requirements are there as far as security and data access?

Design & Implementation Once the feature set for your application is complete, and the appropriate technologies are chosen, the next step is the design of the user interface and underlying programming code. You will be able to monitor your projects progress from our secure development server, allowing you to provide input on the development process. In this stage particular attention is paid to: Graphic design and page template consistency. User interface usability and application workflow.

Testing & Deployment A beta testing period ensures quality control and allows for the refinement of your application. We do this by rolling the application out to a small pool of your users, and monitoring their comments and suggestions. Once final approval is received, the application is copied to our production web server and the application goes live to your users.
